Masonic music

Music used in connection with the functions of the Freemasons. Hymn singing was often a part of masonic functions, and masonic hymnals and cantatas have been published. Composers who were masons include Franz Joseph Haydn,  Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Franz Liszt and others.
